Nice job tracking down the registry keys. Based on your experience with Google apps, I was wondering if you knew why the chrome.exe is so sensitive to compression or alteration of the code segment? I've create a Google Chrome Portable exe which can be found at my site (http://plasmid.co.uk/2008/09/03/portable-google-chrome-beta/) but I'm not sure why when I try to Thinstall it I get errors after the load up.
